A giant thank you to everyone who helped make our 2010 our best show yet! Thank you to all our attendees, guests, vendors, staff etc...We hope everyone who came had a great time and we look forward to seeing you in 2011. Florida Supercon will return next year to the same location (which is undergoing a huge renovation for next years show) on June 17-19, 2011. We know it's a long time away, so look for some exciting news from us over the next month or two about things we have planned over the next year to keep the fun going. FSC is proud to announce Florida Super Comics, Games, Anime + More! If you love Florida Supercon then you'll love the store. Everything you've come to expect at the show will now be in a store 365 days a year (well... we'll probably take Thanksgiving and Christmas off).
Florida Super Comics, Games, Anime + More! will be almost 4,000 sq. feet, making it one of the biggest stores in Florida! It will have all the cool things you expect in a store like this... New Comics, Back Issues (including Golden and Silver Age Comics), Trade Paperbacks / Graphic Novels, Roleplaying Games, CCGS, Anime merchandise, Manga, Japanese Snacks, Models, Statues, T-Shirts / Apparel, Posters, Toys, Comic Supplies, Designer Toys, Original Artwork, Celebrity Autographs, Sci-Fi Memorabilia, Art Books, Art Supplies, Exclusive FSC Merchandise, In store gaming and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!!
We'll have awesome sales and events on a regular basis! It will be Supercon in a Store all year long 365 days a year.
Our GRAND OPENING HALLOWEEN WEEKEND event will take place Saturday October 30 and Sunday October 31. It'll be a Mini-Supercon with at least 15 guest artists and voice actors all weekend long! There'll be huge storewide sales! Candy and treats for everyone! FREE COMICS for everyone who walks in the door! Costume and Cosplay Contests with hundreds of dollars in cash and prizes to the winners! Tons of events are being planned for our opening weekend. We'll have more info as we get closer, including: guest announcements and sale info! We figured since FSC is only once a year, we wanted to keep the fun going all year long! This store is for everyone in the community that loves the same things we do! This store is for you! We will be located in the heart of Broward County on University Drive in Davie, FL.

ROCK BAND Cosplay Competition. Come dressed in cosplay as a band of your favorite anime or cartoon characters (imagine Naruto on lead vocals, Sasuke on bass, Gaara on guitar and Temari on drums... or Master Shake on lead vocals, Frylock on bass, Carl on guitar and Meatwad on drums). Less Than Jake comes to Florida Supercon! Less Than Jake is a ska punk band from Gainesville, Florida. Originally formed in 1992 as a power pop trio, the band evolved into a hybrid of ska punk. Less Than Jake have also been cited as showing influences from a wide variety of genres including post-grunge, alternative rock, third wave ska, punk pop and punk revival. To date, the group has released eight full-length studio albums and a number of singles and compilations. The current lineup comprises guitarist/vocalist Chris Demakes, bassist/vocalist Roger Manganelli, drummer/lyricist Vinnie Fiorello, trombonist Buddy Schaub and saxophonist Peter "JR" Wasilewski. Less Than Jake will be the headling band at Florida Supercon on Friday June 18 and will take the stage at 10:00pm on the Main Events stage.
